These Polaroids are the result of a 6 month project done in 2009 where I created my own daily ritual of taking at least one Polaroid per day. The 400 images were installed in the gallery in a new way each day for 5 days, creating an ephemeral experience that viewers had to be present for. Coincidentally, Polaroid was slowly going out of business during the production of this work, even further commenting on the fleeting nature of the medium and the present moment itself.
