When I moved into the Pink House, I felt like I was starting a big adventure; but, as often happens in life, expectations fell short of reality. My career as a wedding photographer meant that I worked from home editing other people's photos for most of the week. Slowly I became more bitter about love and increasingly isolated. Loneliness and boredom were the hallmarks of that season. As I was pulled into a deeper sense of isolation, I noticed my house had the most beautiful light. Through photographing it, I found my way back.
