I started to notice mail trucks because my friend Ro and I
have been sending each other a postcard that we call "True Confessions" once a week for three years. Every week I get excited because I know that her postcard with her true confessions of the week will be arriving. The mail truck is a symbol of that connection.
I now see mail trucks everywhere, and photograph them every time I see them which ends up being at least once a day. The project started when I first got my iphone in October of 2012 and is always something I'm working on. I am using my phone as my camera because of the immediacy and stealth that it offers me. Many people have joined in on the project through instagram: look up #mailtruckseverywhere to see the hundreds of times people have seen these quirky little trucks.
